We are currently seeking experienced RNs and RMs for short-term contracts at Canberra Hospital and North Canberra Hospital over the 12 months, with the potential to transition into ongoing or permanent roles.
About the Role

Whether you’re managing acute presentations in ED or supporting women and families across the childbirth continuum in maternity, you’ll be an integral part of a professional and compassionate team.
During your 8–12-week contract, you may be working across:
Canberra Hospital Emergency Department and Maternity Unit
North Canberra Hospital Emergency Department and Maternity Services

Skills and Requirements
For Emergency Nurses:
- Unrestricted AHPRA registration
- Minimum 5 years of Emergency/Acute experience
- ALS, Triage, and Resus certification
- Ability to thrive in a high-pressure, fast-paced environment
For Midwives:
- Unrestricted AHPRA registration as an RN & RM
- Minimum 5 years of recent midwifery experience (antenatal, birth suite, postnatal)
- FSEP, CTG, and neonatal resuscitation certification desirable
- Commitment to woman-centred, culturally safe care
